Day 1

An early departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Arrive at the park for lunch and during the afternoon take your first game safari, in Tanzania's most underrated National Park. The park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas. This park is famed for its huge Elephant herds and its proliferation of giant baobab trees. Overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge/Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast brief tour of Tarangire Park, in the afternoon visit Ngorongoro crater is a must when visiting East Africa. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, Ngorongoro Farm House or Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge.

Day 3

An early morning descend into the crater for a full day tour. Ngorongoro Crater which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater is 610 meters deep and 260 km squared and is a microcosm of scenery and game. Magnificent scenery and stunning views are the features of this great wonder of the natural world. Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, Ngorongoro Farm House or Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge.

Day 4

At 08h30 drive to Lobo in the remote Northern Serengeti, Game-viewing en-route. The Lobo area is one of the natural pathways for the yearly migration of the wildebeests. This area has one of the highest concentrations of lion in Africa. Overnight is spent at Lobo Wildlife Lodge at this location.

Day 5

Tour the Northern Serengeti, then drive to Seronera in the central Serengeti – game drive en-route. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world with columns of wildebeest, head to tail, trudging along their traditional migration routes. Sopa Lodge or Seronera Wildlife Lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 6

Pre-breakfast tour of Seronera valley breakfast at the Lodge, then drive to Kirurumu Tented Lodge, Lake Manyara Hotel or Wild Africa Manyara Lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 7

After an early breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park and spend the day game viewing and spot the tree climbing lions that inhabit this area. This beautiful park is at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and comprises of forest, woodland, grasslands, and swamps. The large variety of mammals, reptiles and birds in the Park and the different types of vegetation, all within a small area make Lake Manyara a diverse and particularly memorable place to visit. Afternoon drive to Arusha for dinner and Overnight at Novotel Mt. Meru or Impala Hotel

Day 8

Drive to Marangu. Marangu is a rural village set high on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Coffee and Banana trees flourish. Dinner and Overnight at Babylon Lodge.

Day 9

Enjoy your day relaxing, on the cool slopes of Kilimanjaro, amongst the banana and coffee plantations or take a walk in Kilimanjaro National Park. The local Cultural Tourism programme can arrange guided tours leading to panoramic viewpoints ideal for photographing (waterfalls and Mt. Kilimanjaro) Walks that pass through historical sites of clan wars and ancient legends including large caves used for hiding during the Chagga-Maasai wars. Dinner and Overnight at Babylon Lodge.

Day 10

We recommend to compliment your safari you fly to the exotic 'spice island' Zanzibar to relax on white sands and experience some of the worlds finest diving.
