10 DAY Sustainable Tourism Trip

DAY 1: Hillpark-Nairobi. BB

The guests arrive at the JKIA and get transferred to the Hillpark hotel for overnight stay.

Briefing will be done before dinner.

DAY 2/3/4 : Il Ngwesi Lodge Fb–Lewa wildlife conservancy.

The guests will be picked after an early breakfast to travel by road to the northern frontier,to check in time at the ilngwesi lodge for a late lunch The award winning eco-lodge, .Ilngwesi, is sited on a rocky outcrop on the northeastern edge of the Masai Ilngwesi group ranch-16500 acres beside the Mokogodo escarpment,northe-west of mount Kenya.The lodge is often considered as the role model for community based tourism in Kenya.

Wildlife to be seen in this conservancy:-Elephants,rhinos, lions, wilddogs, hyenas, cheetah, leopard, waterbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, generuk, buffalo, and over 250 bird species. More info on the Lodge can be found on: www.ilngwesi.com.

Activities include; Honey moon specials, Hiking olmaroroi hill, gamedrives, Relaxing at the lodge, A visit to the rhino sanctuary, Bush dinners,  picnic breakfast, Nature walks, Bird watching, Visit Masai cultural villages, A visit to the local community projects.

There are several community projects that have been funded by their partners,friends and supporters.A visit to the projects will really up their moral.

DAY 5: Hillpark-Nairobi. BB

After breakfast,the guests will transfer to Nairobi to check in at the hillpark hotel for lunch and afternoon relaxation.Have city tour and shopping.

DAY 6: Tsavo West National Park-Ngulia Safari Lodge


After breakfast,the guests will travel to the Tsavo West National park,to check in for lunch at the Ngulia Safari Lodge.The park is also known for lava,springs and man-eaters lions!

What to see:-The magic of Mzima springs,Elephant,hippo,crocodile,lion,Several mammals, bird life,the shetani lava flow, and roaring rocks.

Activities:- Game drives,visit the Ngulia rhino Sanctuary .

DAY 7/8/9:] Turtle-Bay, Malindi.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast,the guests will check out from the Ngulia Lodge and depart for the northern coastal town of watamu,near Malindi,to check in the at Turtle bay beach club.Turtle bay beach club is an all inclusive resort that promotes sustainable tourism through the preservation of kenya’s environmental and cultural heritage.It is a place for a beach holiday and year after year over 3000 repeat guests return back for a holiday treat of a lifetime!More info: www.turtlebay.co.ke

Activities include:  Turtle watching with the local ocean trust, Deep sea fishing, A visit to Bioken snake farm,to view a good selection of reptiles, crocodiles, phythons, black mamba, Watamu marine national park for snokelling, Visit gedi ruins,to see 15th century history, Visit Arabuko sokoke forest for birding watching, Visit kipepeo butterfly project, Visit mida greek for exceptional bird watching area, Wind surfing, Golf at the malindi country club, Relaxing at the beautiful white sandy beaches, A visit to community projects.

DAY 10: Nairobi-Flight Home.

Guests will have an early breakfast, checkout and depart for Nairobi, admiring the flora and fauna all the way. They will have lunch on the way. They will check in at the Hillpark hotel for freshening up before being taken to Carnivore restaurant for dinner courtesy of zoar tours. The guests will thereafter transfer to the airport for their flight home.
