8 Day Mara/Sea Side Frolics Deluxe Safari - W05

Day 1

Nairobi-The guests will arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport; will be met by our representative and transferred thereafter to Norfolk hotel for overnight stay and relax.

Day 2/3

Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, the guests will transfer to Wilson airport for a scheduled flight to Maasai Mara the home for the big 5, other mammals and several bird species. Its also known for the annual migration of the wildebeests from the Serengeti in Tanzania through the Mara River. You may witness the powerful jaws of the crocodile snapping as they grab at their prey, the confusion as the wildebeests stomp and wait to play follow the leader, the bated breaths in prayer for their safety. Check in at the Mara safari club for lunch.

Activities: game drive, sundowner, cocktail at the Aitog hills as you watch the Maasai dancers. Balloon safari over the Mara plains, guided nature walks around the park, visit Maasai village.

Day 4/5/6/7

LAMU Coastal town

After breakfast at the Mara safari club, guests depart to Nairobi on a scheduled flight to Wilson airport, Nairobi in time for a connecting flight to Lamu , arriving late afternoon. They will be transferred to Manda bay resort where they will check in.

Manda bay is a small, intimate beach resort overlooking the Indian ocean renowned for its relaxed and casual ambience, the lodge offers gourmet sea food, water sports and dhow cruises, all with a tasteful down to earth simplicity and style that epitomizes bare foot luxury.

It’s located in the northern peninsula of Manda island, Lamu Archipelago, Kenya.

Activities: beach and bush walks, dhow cruises, sundowner cocktails and candle lit dinners under the stars. Cultural visits and excursions to Lamu. Bird walks and boating trips in the mangrove creek.

Water sports; include wind surfing, water skiing, and laser sailing, snorkelling. Kayaking, tubing, deep sea and creek fishing and salt water/by fishing.

DAY 8

After lunch and relaxation at the Manda bay, depart for Nairobi on a scheduled flight from Lamu. Transfer to Tamarind restaurant for dinner courtesy of zoar tours. Thereafter transfer  to  airport for flight home.
