Nairobi-Amboseli - Tsavo West/Lamu

Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi, at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport where they will be met by our staff. Transfer to Fairview hotel for overnight stay and relax.

DAY 2

After breakfast dept. by road to amboseli national reserve; which is near border with Tanzania. From this park, one can have beautiful scenic view of the mt.Kilimanjaro the tallest mountain in Africa. Home to the big 5, other mammals and several bird species. Accommodation at the tortilis camp.

Activities:

Game drives, visits to the Maasai villages, balloon safari over the Amboseli, sundowner dinners e.t.c.

Day 3

After early morning game drive or balloon safari; take breakfast and thereafter depart for Tsavo west; one of the worlds largest national parks. Tsavo west is a home to all the Big 5. Check in at the Ngulia safari lodges for lunch. Embark on afternoon game drive to enable guests see some of the wildlife, scenery and several bird species.

Day 4

After early morning game drive take breakfast and dept for Nairobi. Check in at Fairview hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5/6/7

After breakfast, guests will do city tour/shopping. Places of interest: dolphin shadrick, orphanage, giraffe centre, Karen Blixen, bomb blast site, High Court and many others. Take early lunch and proceed to airport to for a scheduled flight to Lamu.

To check in the Lamu house. Lamu town offers the beauty and authenticity that is unrivalled in the country. With its winding alleys devoid of traffic, pristine beaches, Swahili architecture and unique culture and history, its hard to be bored in this town.

Activities

Boat ride, water sports, beach and bush walks, dhow cruises, sundowner cocktail, cultural visits and excursions to historic sites.

Day 8

After lunch, guests transfer to Lamu airstrips for scheduled flight to Nairobi. Farewell dinner at carnivore and thereafter transfer to airport for flight home.
